You’ll always find me bingin’ on the celeb-led beauty series and catch me dive into seventh heaven as I receive a notification about my fave celebs revealing their latest beauty low downs. A safe space where your fave celebrity shares their beauty and skincare routine? I am all in! I crave that naturally flushed, soft glow and let’s just say that the JENNERS truly kill it with their perfectly plumped up lips and easy blush look and if there is anything I wanna do, it would be to recreate it and walk into my fam-jam Christmas party looking like a million bucks! Whether she is launching her new lip kits or posing for the gram, her perfect holiday looks are to die for! Not gonna lie, there is a lot of Jenner-Kardashian-related content I consume on a daily basis and I am inspired. So, ready or not here’s my final take on how I managed to ball on a budget and create this Kylie Jenner inspired Holiday Glam Look.
BASE ‘ O’CLOCK
Kylie Jenner is known to slay the fully beat-face look. I used the Milani Conceal + Perfect 2-In-1 Foundation + Concealer Liquid Foundation to get that perfect canvas. A few drops of the foundation, blended with a beauty blender is all it took for me to gain that flawless, porcelain lookin’ base.
MAKE ME BLUSH
If there is anything we know, it's that Kylie likes to go OTT with the sunkissed a.k.a sunburnt blush look. I tried breaking down the steps on how to achieve the just-left-the-beach effect by using a blush+highlighter combo. I used the Lakme Absolute Liquid Highlighter for a hint of shine mixed with the Makeup Revolution Superdewy Liquid Blush for the pink tinge. Blending this customized, concentrated emulsion on the high points of my cheeks with my fingers and dabbing away the excess with my blender to give it a soft finish. I also dabbed the rest of the formulation on my nose coz we cannot forget the nose!
A COMPLETE WOWDER!
My life has completely changed after realizing how integral it is to set your face with setting powder. I locked up all the magic using the Kay Beauty Matte Compact with its vision-boggling, skin-blurring power. I lightly swirled the powder on the T-zone of my face along with the areas more prone to creasing.
FULLER BROWS CALLIN!
Kylie is known to have fluffy and fuller-looking brows and if there is anything I was dying to, was to hop on the trend and nail those perfect brows, because fuller brows are back and - they are better than ever. I used the Makeup Revolution Soap Styler to nail the eyebrow archery. This pigmented soap brow kit helps tame and hold your brows in place and it easily enhanced and intensified my brows in a jiffy. Then, I used the e.l.f. Cosmetics Instant Lift Brow Pencil to get those perfect Kybrows.
EYE POPPIN’
Kylie is known for her alluring eye looks and sumptuous smokey eyes. So I tried emulating her dramatic eye look using the Makeup Revolution Forever Flawless Allure Eyeshadow Palette. I used a blend of sweethearts + Nymph just below my brow bone using a tapered brush followed by adding some glitz using the shade, sinner to add some more drama.
MY LIPSTICK BRINGS ALL THE BOYS TO MY YARD!
And…It’s time to look like a siren using the Nykaa Lips Don't Lie! Waterproof Line & Fill Lip Liner for a super-soft pout. Using that, I lined my cupid's bow and the bottom of my lips. I noticed how Kylie usually uses a liner that matches her natural lip color and the shade Beautiful Liar is the perfect match for it! Pro Tip: I highly recommend moisturizing your lips with a lip balm prior to applying any product as it makes for a smoother application, moisturizes your lips, and also helps add that extra glossiness.
JUICY LIPS. CHECK!
If there is anything you need to finish this look is to drench your lips with some multi-dimensional juiciness. All you need is a swipe of the IBA Must Have Lip Plumping Gloss for the magic to work. If anything, Kylie Jenner has the perfect plush lips and that’s exactly what I tried to go for by using some plumping action. So, pucker up for a dramatic finishing touch with ultra-shiny and ultra-glossy voluptuous-looking lips!
