Maybelline product made in china??

Question

I gotta maybelline city mini pallette from nykaa... product is tagged to be MADE IN CHINA. How do i know if the product is original n not fake. M worried abt the harmful chemicals if any!!!!

Most of  the world's makeup is manufactured in china and for the products in India or nearby asia it's most of the time chinese product we are using no matter what brand. Not only that majority of high end brands be it chanel makeup everything is manufactured in china also big companies have several manufacturing factories in different countries so dont worry about "made in china" phrase. South Asian often get everything made in china irrespective of the brand. Even armani, bobbi brown and este lauder's products are also made in china. Europeans might have their product manufactured in different country from same brand.

Is it only me or anyone else is also bothered by the fact that many Maybelline product which were my favourite have changed into made in china product. My absolute favorite Maybelline Color sensational cream matte which is adored by all around our country is now having Chinese label on it and manufactured in China. The texture is silicon-plastic glossy and doesn't stay on lips more then a drink. Whereas it use to be creamy, matte, thick and highly pigmented. Now I am feeling like I have loved one product that I use daily and loved so so much. What can I do now I want the old one product back the texture the undertone everything is gone. I purchased 3 times after that thinking this time I might be lucky and get the one we all loved. But It always gave me Chinese one. I guess Maybelline has switched to chinese production which is sad.

The product is not fake , maybelline is owned by loreal , loreal have various innovation centres around the world , products are made in US, China , India , all will be orginal products.
