I had tried mac studio fix in the shade nc 40 and nc 42 and both looks pretty well on my skin. Please suggest what shade i should opt for and what is the difference between the two shades?

NC40 and NC 42 both are for yellow undertone skin and it has only a minor difference which is NC40 has yellow with peach undertone and NC42 has true yellow undertone.

Hi Reema, Nc 40 has a more peach golden undertone, while Nc 42 has a true golden undertone. You opt for the one that matches you perfectly. You can learn about your undertone by looking at the veins on your wrist, If they are green then you have a warm undertone. If your veins are blue then you have a cool undertone, if you have both green and purple then you have a neutral undertone.
