Why don't you try flossing? It really helps with bad breath and clean your tongue with a tongue cleaner.

Q:

Why do some lipstick shades make my teeth look yellow?

Nida Shaikh
Answered 4 years ago1 Like

This can either be because you are wearing the wrong lipstick shade or you are a regular tea consumer - this actually stains the teeth and the yellowness stands out with the wrong lip shade.

The right shades that won’t ever make your teeth look yellow could be:

  1. Blue-reds instead of orange-y reds
  2. Berry-hued pinks instead of coral pinks
  3. Deep mauves or berry shades
  4. Peachy pinky Nudes instead of brown toned nudes
  5. You can try amping up the look using glosses as well

Q:

Can u tell that regular dental cleanups help in teeth whitening? Are there any safe teeth whitening procedures that don’t cause teeth senstivity or any other sideeffects?

Dr Laxmi Singh

Dental cleanups should be done every 6 months or a year depending upon the necessity. Does it whiten your teeth? No. It does clean your teeth but it doesn't make your teeth all white from the natural color. You can opt for bleaching of your teeth post scaling. That definitely will whiten your teeth. But you can not get your teeth bleached every now and then. It does harm your teeth when used excessively. Bleaching does cause sensitivity for a time period. But your dental surgeon will definitely recommend a good toothpaste for the same. All you need to do is visit a good dentist in your area.

Hii dear..💮♦💮♦

  • Try oil pulling with cold pressed coconut oil, and use Himalaya Sparkling white tooth paste daily, also u can try the paste of baking soda and lemon as a home remedy..Mix several teaspoons of baking soda with fresh lemon juice (or water) to make a paste. Wipe your teeth and any extra saliva off of them with a paper towel. Put a good amount of paste onto your toothbrush and apply. Leave the paste on for 1 minute, then rinse, so as to avoid the acid effecting enamel.
