Hello there Alisha, I am definitely not a skincare expert. However, from my years of research on skin lightening and whitening treatments, I have gathered some useful information on skin lightening.

Here are some products which my friends have tried and felt that they work on lightening skin. However, do take note that these serums or creams will work more effectively if you also protect your skin from UV damage from the sun.

For skin brightening, you can use good exfoliating facial scrubs every 3-4 days for a glowing look. Removing dead skin cells will encourage the regeneration and growth of new skin cells which will give you a lighter skin tone.



Try out scrubs like this one from origins, which gives a glow to lacklustre skin without harming sensitive skin.

After using a skin brightening scrub, use a skin lightening cream to fade out dark spots on face, or lighten your whole complexion.

An example of a skin lightening cream would be Dr Jart+ Cicapair Tiger grass colour correcting treatment.
