With the weather changing its mood every other hour, I had nothing better to do than scroll on Nykaa to find some rare gems for all the quirky girlies that nobody’s heard of. Surfing on Instagram is so 2023, doomscrolling on the Nykaa app while it's pouring outside is my new Roman Empire. Without further ado, let’s get into it.
1. Tomayto, Tomahto!
This tomato-shaped Magic Massage Pack from TONYMOLY is the cutest packing I have ever seen. I was spectacle too when I read waterless pedicure but this 3-in-1 pedicure set really is true to its name. It comes with a scrub, a mud masque, and a massage cream. All you need to do is apply the scrub on your feet and massage the product in at problem areas, wipe it off and continue with the mud masque, let it rest for 5 minutes. Wipe that off with a damp cloth and massage the cream, and you are done! Okay, let’s just take a moment to appreciate the packaging, *Clap, Clap, Clap!* It’s an egg skin peeling gel, that’s made of natural eggs from Mountain Jiri, packaged in an egg-shaped container, and stored with five other eggs, in an egg carton. My childhood memories are coming back to me when everyone with the 4-in-1 pen would rule, and this On-The-Go 4-in-1 Makeup Pen is truly the adult version of that. This pen has eyeliner, lip liner, brown crayon, and a highlighter, not just that, it is also vegan and cruelty-free, talk about being an overachiever that ticks all your boxes. (Alexa, play whatever the makeup version of “I’m looking for guy in finance, trust fund, 6’5”, blue eyes” is).
5. ASMR Essential
This mini fridge is every aesthetic-ASMR-girly’s dream. This cute four-litre fridge maintains a crisp 2℃ to keep all your beauty products cool and perfect for high-coverage application. Honorary Mention
This is not a rare find, as it is a simple black leather card holder, but for someone who was born and raised in Bombay, finding something from the infamous 90-foot Dharavi Market on Nykaa is very amusing. Dharavi is one of the biggest leather markets that manufactures some of the most high-value yet lost-cost goods that are exported across the globe. This is just a proud find.
